My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of one of Worcester's greatest men. He was a model for so many, and he will be greatly missed.
Worcester has lost several giants recently and Cy is one of the tallest in so many ways.
I truly enjoyed his stories and we shared an afinity toward each other as fellow Bostonians. He was a critical and key advocate for me in my five campaigns for public office.
He had a zest for life and learning that would tire most of us out. If I could be half the humanitarian Cy was, I would be doing well. I will miss his phone calls asking me to come and talk to the "Men's Club", his special advocacy for education, (even though I am on the Council now, Cy always made sure I talked about education.), his love for his family, his G-d, his Country and his City. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.

Cy Topol was a father figure to me.

We talked for many years about this city and its politics.

I will miss my good friend and I will always remember his acts of kindness to so many people.

My family and I send our respect and love.

We will never forget Mr. Cyrus Topol.
