David Richardson Obituary

David J. Richardson, 45, of Sycamore Street, died Monday, June 16th at St. Vincent Hospital, after being stricken ill.

He leaves his two sons, Jacob A. Richardson and Nicholas D. Richardson, of whom he was extremely proud, and his wife, Janet C. (Standrowicz) Richardson, all at home; five sisters, Linda Domack of Oxford, Susan Berube of TX, Bonnie Lupa of Worcester, Cynthia Adams of CT and April Hobbs of MD; two brothers, Harold Richardson and Sidney Richardson, both of Oxford; the mother of his children, Kimberly Richardson and her partner, Andrew Lambert; nephews and nieces; and all of the Standrowicz family that loved him as a brother. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, John J. and Helen L. (Johnson) Richardson and a brother John J. Richardson Jr.

David was Director of Sales at AMD Merchandise Distributors in Whitinsville for more than 20 years. He was a dedicated and devoted father and husband. David was very active in his sons' organized sports as a Little League coach in Millbury and Southbridge, and enjoyed fishing, basketball, baseball and was a forever Giants fan. Above all else, he loved and was so very proud of his sons.

David's funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21st in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 20th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David Richardson Trust Fund, a fund for his children's education, in care of the Millbury Federal Credit Union, 50 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527. Grafton Street (I am Cynthia's Half- sister) April and I were like sisters
