Dorothy Turgeon Obituary

Dorothy M. (Higginbotham) Turgeon, 74, died Wednesday in her residence after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, Edward F. Turgeon; three sons, Edward P. of South Attleboro, Joseph E. of Randolph, ME and Peter A. of Barre; seven daughters, Chrystal A. Sullivan of Killingly, CT, Cheryl A. Riley of North Carolina, Denise M. Turgeon of San Antonio, TX, Beverly J. Foulkrod of Kaufman, TX, Patti A. Pickett of Hubbardston, Deborah J. Andrews of Warwick, MA and Sandra Fuller of Attleboro, MA; two sisters, Janice Proux of Colorado and Elaine McAlester of Lincoln, RI; 31 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

The funeral for Dorothy will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 from Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S. Barre Rd., Barre with an 11:00 AM Mass in St. Josephs Church, South St., Barre. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in the funeral home.

I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Dot's passing. How nice for her to have been surrounded by her loving husband and family in her final days. She is at peace now. You are all in my thoughts.
