John Paquette Obituary

John K. "Jack" Paquette, 77, of 96 Acorn St., died Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Clinton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 53 years, Jannine A. (Rouleau) Paquette, died April 17, 2008.

He leaves two sons, Christopher F. Paquette and his wife Marcia, and Dana R. Paquette, and a daughter, Adriane C. McDonald and her husband John, all of Clinton; a brother, James Paquette and his wife, Joyce, of Uxbridge; a sister, Alice Fallon of Murrell's Inlet, SC; three grandchildren: Joshua and Nicole Paquette, and Sean McDonald; several nieces and nephews.

Jack was born in Blackstone, son of the late Francis and Vera (Stanley) Paquette, and lived in Clinton most of his life. He attended Clinton schools, and Worcester Boy's Trade High School. For 23 years until its closing, he worked as a printer at the former Colonial Press, Inc. He later worked at Wellesley Press, Wellesley and as a graphic arts salesman in the printing industry, prior to his retirement. He was a US Marine Corps. Veteran of the Korean War. A member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Jack enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and especially, watching his grandchildren play sports. He was also a champion neighborhood tomato and cucumber farmer. In 2007, he received the Shillelagh Award.

Jack's funeral will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1 Cross St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday, June 22, 2008, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

So sorry for your loss. Maybe there is comfort in knowing Jack is with Jannine, and they are most likely very happy again.
