Dear Smith Cousin's:

If a tiny baby could think, it would be afraid of birth. To leave the only world it has ever known would seem a kind of death. But immediately after birth the child would find itself in loving arms, showered with affection and cared for at every moment. Surely the baby would say, "I was foolish to doubt God's Plan for me. This is a beautiful life."
For the Christian, passing through death is really a birth into a new and better world. Those who are left behind should not grieve as if there were no hope. Life is changed, not taken away. Our dear ones live on, in a world beautiful beyond anything we can imagine. With Jesus and Mary they await the day when they will welcome us with joy.
"Do not grieve too much" they say to us. "We are living and are still with you."

Love Billy, Donna, Jason, Erin, Caisse and Erika

I'll never forget how Mr. Smith welcomed me into his family on their family vacations to Camp Ellis. I went twice in my life and I'll never forget the fun times he had with all his golf buddies. I'll always remember how he was nice to me as one of Dave's friends and cared for me as if I were a member of his family.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My Dad was the smartest man I know. We loved talking politics and sports but when the talk turned into a debate, I could only win if he let me. He was the smartest man I've ever known. I will always remember his simple advice for me when I got my first management job and I asked him how he managed people so well? It's simple he said, "treat them as you would like them to treat you" Just one of many, many valuable lessons he has taught me and I can't count the times he has helped me, my wife Lisa and my two children Josh and Meghan and even my 6-year old granddaughter Tiana who adored Pappa Smith. He was always there with good sound advice. We will always miss you Pappa Smith and we will always Love You.

Uncle Bill was a kind, sweet man. He had a great laugh and seemed to want to use it frequently. He reminded me so much of my mom. I hope they are playing together in Ashburnham right now.

I remember my Uncle Bill to be a very caring, sincere, and jovial person (loved a good joke). Not getting to see him very often, he was genuinely interested in new events in my and my family's life when i did visit. I will pray for him and know how much he will be missed by all of his family.
With Deepest Sympathy.

My Dad was not only a great father to us all, but also a mentor and a friend in time of need. He never waivered from his beliefs and lived his life with a strong moral and ethical compass. While we will greatly miss his presence, we will honor his life by living according to the solid principles that he taught us--- respect for others, compassion, generosity, and honesty. May you rest in peace, Dad. I love you.
