Stuart Tuffs Obituary
Stuart is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Irene (Schofield) Tuffs of Northborough; a son, Ian S. Tuffs of MN; two grandchildren, Katya Tuffs of Millbury and William Tuffs of Alton, N.H.; a brother, Harry Tuffs of Barre; a sister, Betty Moffet of Cuddington, England; as well as many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Liverpool, England, he was the son of the late Stuart and Margaret (Adams) Tuffs.
Stuart came to the United States in 1968. He has lived in Northborough for the past 24 years. He was employed as an Engineer with the Norton Company in Worcester for 17 years before retiring in 1993. Stuart was a member of the Masons in England and in Natick and the Church of the Nativity in Northborough. He loved traveling, skiing and fishing.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard Street, Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 23, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street (Rte. 20) Northborough. For directions or online condolences please visit:
