Dorothy Tisch Obituary
Known as a spirited woman with a great sense of humor, she brought cheer to many patients during her 60 years as an RN.
Dottie leaves a daughter, Jody Tisch, of Worcester, a son Adam of Denver, three granddaughters, Britttany and Kristen Page and Kora Tisch; a sister Suzanne Kramer of Granby, nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her former husband, Arthur Tisch, also of Florida.

My Aunt Dot was one of the most fun people I've ever known, and I loved visiting her as a child. When she moved to Worcester in the early 70s I was thrilled to have her nearby, and spent a lot of time at her house. She was always loving and kind and funny when I was around her. I will miss her sense of humor and her bold outlook on life most of all.

I had lost contact with Dot since I worked with her at Senior Home Care and I was sad to hear of her passing. She was such a hard worker and loved her patients, as they loved her too. I was so amazed at her drive to continue working. She had some great stories about nursing in "the old days" and about her kids and grandkids who she spoke so fondly of. Dot was a credit to the nursing profession!

Dot had a kind heart & would help her friends in any way she could.Her warm laughter drew people to her like the sun. She was fair & honest & not afraid to look you in the eye. Not long ago when I was hospitalized & critically ill, she came to be by my side to watch out for me. Dot lived a full life & saw the world change from the depths of the depression to the Space Age. She affected my life & changed it for the better with her positive outlook on life. I will miss her & never forget her. I loved her..she was my friend.

Dottie was my favorite aunt. In addition to being a close family member, she was my friend and I enjoyed long conversations with her on the phone on a regular basis. She was optimistic, had a great sense of humor, and a cutting wit. I loved her very much and will miss my interactions with her as life goes on for me without her in my life.

Dot was such a wonderful & complicated woman. I miss seeing her beautiful red hair go passed our window on her daily walks, and hearing her next story, and how she could bark at you & still have tenderness in her eyes. I miss her humor & judgementalness & her quiet support. I miss my friend.

Dear Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Dottie and I used to work together for many years her as a wonderful and caring nurse and me as a home health aide. I always enjoyed her and saw her out in the field even after we went to different jobs. we also shopped at the same grocery store in Pasadena. Take care and I know he is shining on your mom now.
