Donna Desautels Obituary

Donna Marie Desautels, 55, of Leicester died on Saturday, June 21st in her home after an illness.

Donna is survived by her son Aaron P.A. Lane of Worcester; her parents Roger E. and Doris M. (Comeau) Desautels of Leicester; two brothers Gary R. Desautels of Leicester and Richard P. Desautels of Charlton; two grandchildren Cora Delaney Lane and Aesyn Elijah Lane and many nephews and nieces.

She graduated from David Fanning High School in Worcester as an LPN. Donna worked as an administrative assistant at Umass Medical School and previously worked for 23 years as a phlebotomist at the Barton Memorial Hospital in California. Donna enjoyed skiing and doing crafts.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 24th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 11 AM in North American Martyrs Church 8 Wyoma Drive Auburn. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are on Monday, June 23rd from 6 to 8 Pm in the funeral home. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Umass Memorial Hospice 650 Lincoln Street Worcester, MA 01605.

Family,
I worked with Donna at Fallon on weekends and we had a great time! She was always so upbeat and full of life, all we did was laugh. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
