Richard Gannon Obituary

Richard C. Gannon, Jr., 58, died June 19, 2008 in Marlboro Hospital. He leaves four brothers, Paul J. and his wife Joanne of Shrewsbury, Francis L. of Wrentham, David W. of Worcester and Robert C. Gannon of Northbridge. He also leaves a nephew and two nieces, Paul, Julie, and Justine Gannon.

Richard was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard C. Gannon Sr. and Ann R. (Alu) Gannon-Moriarty. He attended the Adult Day Health Program at Seven Hills in Worcester. The family would like to thank the staff of Seven Hills for their care for Richard over the years.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church in Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Ave, Worcester, MA 01603. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. For online condolnces, visit

I havent seen Richard in many years (since I worked at SHF) I do though work with David and he told me that Richard passed away. My sympathy goes out to Paul and family.
