I was very sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. Mrs. Corey was a wonderful teacher and made a difference in the lives of so many of her students. She made Grove Street School a happy place for both the students and the teachers.

Our sympathy to all who are grieving her passing. When I remember her, a smile blooms, and not because of the best cookies in the world! I remember the time she told me she had no trouble sleeping on a bus when she was in the Navy: I could never do that! There was an almost musical hint of laughter in her voice and a genuine concern for others - she made the world a better place in her special way. Let's honor her by holding on to that in our lives too. All our love,

I just wanted to send you all my condolences. I had your mom as my 3rd grade teacher many years ago. I have thought of her often, as she was one of my favorites. She knew how to make someone feel special.

To Kathy's Children:
Our thoughts are with your family. I worked with your mother at Memorial School. She was the sweetest person and a joy to be around. She always spoke very proudly of her children. Once I moved on to teach elsewhere, I never saw her again. I missed her kind heart and words of wisdom. May she rest in peace.
