James Nields Obituary
He was the son of the late James Jr. and Martha (Berry) Nields. He a leaves his children James IV of Amherst and Megan Nields of Belmont, as well as his partner Blanche Vadnais. He was predeceased by his former wife Joanne Donahue, and his brother Lee.
He worked in sales for his Moon Rising Co. of Hardwick. He was educated in the Hardwick Elementary School, St Paul's School in Concord NH, and also attended Williams College. He was a vice-president of the former Ware Woolen Co., and was a member of the Ware Men's Club and the Ware Community Theatre.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 12th at 12 noon at the Hardwick Universalist Church on the common in Hardwick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Baystate Mary Lane Oncology Dept., 85 South St. Ware, Ma. 01082.
Charbonneau Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Nields kindness and humor will always stay with me. I've loved and been loved by him and his family for over twenty-five years. They are all special and dear to me. I know that he and my Dad are sharing an apple pie somewhere in the Universe!

Jim and I shared a wonderful life together. His love for me, his friends, and his family flowed through every day. He loved people and always found the positive in everyone! He was a wonderful man.
