Professor Chou was an amazing teacher and an even more amazing person. I will forever treasure the conversations I had with him about geometry, number theory, and topology. He was always smiling and so enthusiastic!! I will always remember him as one of those professors that leave a part of their soul with you.

Professor Chou was a great professor- and I'll always remember our multivariate calculus class theme of "llamas" because of the "lemmas" we learned. He always made me laugh and he will be greatly missed.

Professor Chou was an amazing professor as well as a friendly and encouraging man. He would always make jokes to liven up the class and made learning more enjoyable. He will be missed at Clark, but never forgotten.

Professor Chou was my faculty advisor at Clark and I had the privilege of taking 6 courses with him, including a directed reading. He was always more than willing to help, whether it be helping me with courses taught by other professors, writing letters of recommendation, or finding me an internship. He was an intelligent and caring individual who will be greatly missed.

Professor Chou was an incredible academic with a genuine passion for teaching and ensure that his students succeed. His excellent teaching style coupled with his terrific sense of humor was always a delight for all his students. A wonderful human being, I've had some insightful conversations with him. He cared so much about his students - I had the honor taking two of his math classes and auditing a computer science class. He will forever remain in our memories!

Professor Chou was more than just a teacher to me, he was a good friend. I had three classes with him and TA'd for two more, but I wish I had taken more. He was always patient with students and would go to incredible lengths to make sure that they understood the material. Even when I wasn't enrolled in his classes I would often stop by his office to talk about.. well, anything. I have a hard time imagining the Math/CS department without him, it just won't be the same. I'll always look back fondly on the time I was privileged enough to spend with him.

Arthur was a wonderful colleague, always calm, kind, helpful and thoughtful. He was a wonderful researcher setting very high standards, especially for himself. He was a wonderful and exciting teacher, adored by his students. Most importantly, he was a wonderful human being. He will be thoroughly missed, but he will keep on living in our memories and in our hearts.
