Das, It's been a couple of weeks since the 4th of July now. I can't help but think of you when I look up in the sky and see those beautiful fireworks. So close to the anniversary of your passing. I remember when I was just a little girl, no older than my little ones. You would bring us (Jeff, Chris, and I) to see them too. I will never forget those great times, and I will never forget you. You will live on in my heart forever. I love you. Kerri

Happy Birthday Dad!!!!

October 28, 2008

Dad, it's been almost 5 months since you been gone and I still can't beleive it. It was moms birthday the other day and so weird you not being there. I think it gets harder and harder everday you are not here. I miss you and love you dad. Your birthday is coming up soon. I figured the best way to celebrate is to go have a drink at the 200 Sportsmens club. I am sure you are laughing about that. One of your favorite places to go. I will have to bring Rosie there for you, I know you loved taking her there. I love you!! You will always be in my heart. Love Janelle

Such a pupil in the school of simplicity
A man of humble and gold of Jerry I speak and I am recalling became the teacher of whose lessons we hold His son, my friend, my brother at heart Jeff is a very proud son whose father remained at the top of his list his shadow and mentor since day one laughing, cooking, carrying on, reminiscing of Maine and the Cape, cement, Bobcats, Hondas and the Sea Bees
From the stories you could not escape Jerry Mason- was not the blue collared cousin of the great Raymond Burn but an artisan and craftsman famous for building out of brick.
A "micfah" over in Newton Square and I swear there is some coincidence although no proof or evidence is clear He came from Rum-Ford is uncanny is what he sipped and is what he steered
A simple man - a greatness of honor has certainly got "thar from heare" and taken that countryroad, like John Denver said In the place he belongs - sun shining and no fear
The greatest thing I learned from Jerry and with my own I do the same is giving your dad a kiss on the cheek shows your love and carries no shame.

Thank you so much Tony for the beautiful poem you have written about my father. He Loved and treated everyone like there own.

Dad...so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning...it seems
the sound has been erased.

Dad, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don't fit.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I'd tell you that out of all the dads
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening
in your home above;
Would you go and find my dad
and give him all my love.

Always in my heart, Janelle
