Maryann Wrobleski Obituary

Maryann V. Wrobleski, 61 of Stillwater, OK, passed away in Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK on Friday, June 20th. She is survived by her companion of 16 years, Michael Hammond of Stillwater; his family, John and Kelly Brewer and their children Ashlee, Alee and Lloyd, Sharon and Sandra Hammond of Oklahoma; her brother, Thaddeus C. Wrobleski, Jr. and his wife, Jo Ann (Pruszynski) Wrobleski of Leicester, MA.

Maryann was born in Worcester, MA, the daughter of Dr. Thaddeus C. Wrobleski, D.D.S. and Helen (Wroblinski) Wrobleski. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Worcester and Worcester Junior College and later attended Clark University where she received a Goddard Award and then continued her engineering studies at Boston University. She began her career at Wyman Gordon Co. in North Grafton, MA, and was involved in the design work for the forging of the Boeing 747 Pivot. She also did design engineering work for O.S. Walker Co, in Worcester, Bird Machine Co, in Foxboro, and U.S. Windpower in Burlington, all in Massachusetts. She most recently worked at MerCruiser of Stillwater. She traveled extensively for work throughout her career.

The memorial service was held on Thursday, June 26 in Magnolia Chapel, Crawford, OK. The graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12th in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St., Worcester. Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., Worcester is assisting the family with the arrangements.
