Mary Moran Obituary

Mary E. Moran, 81, of 24 Water St., died on Monday, July 07, 2008 at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston after a brief illness.  She is survived by her loving sister with whom she lived, Beatrice Moran of Clinton; numerous cousins, and many dear friends.

Mary was born in Clinton to the late Bernard and Bridget (O'Malley) Moran and attended local schools.  She was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1944 and continued her education with the Worcester School of Business Science and later Assumption College.  Mary was a career employee of the New England Telephone Company in Clinton where she ultimately retired as supervisor.  She was a life member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Clinton.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton.  Burial is to follow in St. John Cemetery in Lancaster.  Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday prior to Mass from 10 until 11AM.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Moran to St. John the Evangelist Church Restoration Fund, 149 Chestnut St., Clinton, MA 01510.
