Genevieve Lucier Obituary
She is survived by her cousin, Albert Shortsleeves and his wife Phyllis of Hudson, Ma.
Genevieve received her early education at St. Stephen Grammar School. She later went on to graduate from Commerce High School.
She loved music and was an elected volunteer for the Music Guild of Music Worcester Inc., for over twenty-three years, and also served as the treasurer.
Genevieve first worked as a secretary for Standard Brands for nineteen years and later went on to work for Paul Revere Life Insurance for twenty-eight years up until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Church in Worcester.
Her funeral will be held Friday July 11th from the FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at 12 noon at St. Stephen's Church, Worcester. Burial will be private in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, Ma. Visiting hours will be Friday morning from 10:30am to 11:30am. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Music Guild, C/O Jeannette Smith, Treasurer, .40 Joe Jenny Rd, Oxford, Ma. 01540. I was so sorry to learn of Gen's death. I worked with her for many years at Paul Revere and when she was Mr. Blanchard's devoted secretary. She was a great lady and was always on the go. She will be missed.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I grew up in Hudson and I remember the name Al Shortsleeves. I lived on Apsley Street and a wonderful woman named Tina would care for me after school. I believe her last name was also Shortsleeves. I have many happy memories of those days.

"Chickie" was a wonderful person full of living and enjoying life. she always had interesting storie, ideas and opinions. She will be missed by her family and friends. My deepest condolences her family.

I have fond memories of "Chickie" - working with her for many years. To a 17-year old, like myself, she was so sophisticated, worldly, so accomplished and such a lady. I learned much from her in so many ways.
