Dorothy E. Lloyd

Dorothy E. (Haynes) Lloyd 84 of Eastham, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in Eagle Pond Rehabilitation & Living Center, Dennis, MA. She was the wife of the late Clifford J. Lloyd Jr.

She was born on March 25, 1924 in Worcester, MA. Besides being a homemaker; she was a seamstress, loved knitting, crocheting, sewing, and crafts. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Brewster, MA., and was also a member of the women's guild.

She is survived by four sons: Clifford J. Lloyd III of CA, Richard T. Lloyd of Ashby, MA, Wayne P. Lloyd of Providence, R.I., Donald G. Lloyd of Eastham; one daughter: Sally L. Inman of Norwood, one sister: Doris Bachand of Auburn, MA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robert A. Lloyd and the sister of the late Donald Haynes.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 1883 Main Street, Brewster. Her burial will follow at 2:45 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
