Doris Harrison Obituary

Doris M. (Grammo) Harrison, 84, of Maple Ave., died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Joseph Cormier, who died in 1963; and her 2nd husband, Lionel G. Harrison, who died in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Langlois of North Oxford; three grandsons and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Langlois of Spencer, who died in 2005. She was born in Warren, the daughter of the late Frank A. and Florida M. (Boucher) Grammo, and lived in Worcester and Charlton, before moving to North Oxford 53 years ago. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1942.

A graveside service will be private at North Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.

Dear Sue,

My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. I'm hoping you can find joy in the many wonderful memories you have of your Mother. You stood by your Mom when she needed you and that must have been comforting to her - may it give you some comfort now. You've been a wonderful daughter.
