Kristen Stowe Obituary
She leaves her husband, Kent A. Stowe; her mother, Linda M. (Wennerberg) Vernon; her father, Leonard Yursha of Sutton; three sisters, Michelle Chunis of Millbury, Nicole Vernon of Sutton and Melissa Vernon of Sutton; three brothers, Steven Vernon of Sutton, Kevin Vernon of Pomfret CT and Scott Vernon of Sutton; her service dog, Shayna; six nephews and six nieces. She is predeceased by a brother, Mark Vernon.
Kristen was a former Horticulturalist at Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge and UMASS Medical Center in Worcester. She graduated from Sutton High School and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. She was a board member of the Millbury Disability Commission and a member of the Worcester Jaycee's.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 20th in the Bethel Lutheran Church, 92 Bryn Mawr Avenue in Auburn. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NEADS, Redemption Rock Trail, Princeton, MA 01541 or to the Handicapped Accessibility Fund of the First Congregational Church, 148 West Main St., Millbury, MA 01527 or to the Bethel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 92 Bryn Mawr Ave., Auburn, MA 01501. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolence book and directions available at: www.mulhane.com
