Gary Bedard Obituary

Gary E. Bedard, 54, formerly of Worcester passed away July 15th in his home in Framingham after being stricken ill. Born November 13, 1953, he is survived by mother, Ann (Gosselin) Raymond of Worcester; brothers, David Bedard of Dudley, and George Raymond of Princeton; sister, Maria (Raymond) Donovan of Oxford; ten nieces and nephews. His father George Raymond and sister Cheryl Raymond pre-deceased him.

Gary lived his life with a strong belief in God and a love for his family. He was an avid fan of the New England Sports teams.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Thursday, July 24th from 4-6 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Gary Bedard Memorial Fund, c/o Sovereign Bank, 486 Lincoln St, Worcester, Ma 01605.

Lots of great memories from Burncoat Jr. High and GBV. I'll always remember Gary walking around with his boom box, listening to the Beatles or a Red Sox game. He will be sadly missed.

Annie, I am extremely saddened on hearing about gary's passing, I have been part of your family for so long that your loss is also my loss, I always had a special place in my heart for ( uncle Gary ), You, Jesse, David, Banjo, Maria, Tiffany & the rest of the family, will always be in my thoughts and prayers, with that said may your family and friends be the rock that guides you through this time of grief and sorrow.

I ,like Larry shared so many good times with Gary. He was my support and I his. He will always be in my heart and mind. Dog track won't be the same! Music and that portable cassette deck :) Sorry for your loss and ours..

It is with great sorrow that I learn of Gary's passing. We were close friends in our youth, and I have many wonderful memories of those times.
