Lucia Gagne Obituary

Lucia (LaRoche) Gagné, 102 died Friday in Radius Healthcare.

Her husband was the late Eloi Gagné who died in 1988. She is survived by a son, Adelard "Del" and his wife Annette Gagné of Sturbridge and a daughter, Therese LaMere of Southbridge; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Fernand LaRoche of Thetford Mines, Canada, and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Canada, daughter of Alfred and Virginie (Poulin) LaRoche and has lived here since 1925. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Church and Sacred Heart Church.

The funeral will be Tuesday from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy St. (handicap from Edward St.) Southbridge with a Mass at 10AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 34 Charlton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in Old Notre Dame Cemetery, Charlton Street. Calling hours are Monday, at the funeral home from 6-8PM.
