Alice St. Pierre Obituary

Alice (Lesperance) St. Pierre, formerly of 171 Pilgrim Avenue in Worcester, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at The Beaumont in Westborough.

Mrs. St. Pierre was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Georges and Ida (Rousseau) Lesperance. She was predeceased by her six siblings and her husband of 67 years, Ronald X. St. Pierre, who died in 1998. She leaves a daughter, Suzanne S. Starzyk and son-in-law A. Richard Starzyk of Northborough with whom she had lived for several years. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Marc Starzyk of Lancaster, PA; Timothy Starzyk and Kathryn Starzyk both of Marblehead, MA; as well as three great grandchildren: Zachary, Jakob, and Emma Starzyk all of Lancaster, PA.

Mrs. St. Pierre had a long career as a nurse at Holden District Hospital, retiring in 1972. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Worcester and it's Women's Club.

Mrs. St. Pierre donated her body to the Anatomical Gifts Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Funeral arrangements will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions can be made to the Friends of Beaumont, 3 Lyman Street, Westborough, MA 01581.

Alice was my Mom's neighbor at Beaumont in Westborough. Alice was always a delight to be around and was a true friend to my Mom. She will be dearly missed.
