Yolande G. Brothers

Yolande G. (Guy) Brothers, 99, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore A. Brothers, Sr. Born in St. Valerien, Quebec, Canada, she was one of sixteen children of the late Amedee and Aurora (Guilbert) Guy. She is survived by her loving family of three sons: Theodore A. and his wife Janice Brothers, Jr. , Roger and his wife Marie Brothers, all of Milford, MA, Normand and his wife Jeanne Brothers of Auburndale, FL; two daughters: Muriel and her husband Gregory Flynn of Norfolk, MA, and Pauline and her husband Peter Koerner of Cumberland, RI. She has 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Cheryl Ann Brothers and great grandmother of the late Layla Brothers. She is the sister of Sister Lillian Guy RJM of Warwick, RI, Bernadette Forget of West Palm Beach, FL and Estelle Guy of Woonsocket, RI. Resident of Milford, MA for the past 3 years. She moved from Canada at the age of 16 to Woonsocket, RI were she resided until she was married, then moved to Bellingham, MA where she resided for over 55 years and also Mendon, MA. Communicant of St. Blaise Church and the former Assumption Church. Mrs. Brothers was a nurses aide at Wrentham State School for 10 years until retiring. She loved her family and had strong faith and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral will be held Saturday, 9AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Route 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10AM in St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham, MA. Interment St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery Bellingham, MA. Visiting hours Friday, 4-7PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Yolande G.
