Russell Worth Obituary

Russell Worth, 82, of Williams St., died Wednesday, July 30th at St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester, MA.

He leaves his wife of 59 yrs., Rita (O'Neil) Worth of Southbridge; three sons: Alan Worth and his wife Julie of Weymouth, Edward Worth, Brian Worth and his wife Carol, all of Southbridge; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert Worth, and one niece. He was predeceased by his daughter, Janis Worth in 2007 and a brother, Leon Worth.

He was born in Quincy and worked at the Quincy Ship Yard before relocating to Southbridge where he then worked at CPC engineering, retiring in 1987.

Russell enjoyed word working and cruising, having taken many trips. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 109, Sturbridge, MA.

There are no calling hours, private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Building Fund/Post 109, Main St., Fiskdale, MA 01566
