Lolita Krauss Obituary

Lolita L. (Bruso) Krauss, 76, of 116 Flagg St., died on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Clinton Hospital after being stricken ill. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty five years, William Krauss who died in 1986. She is survived by two sons, William R. Krauss and his wife Virginia, and Randy E. Krauss, all of Clinton; five daughters, Sandra Krick of Maryland, AnnaLee Lee and her husband Richard of Lancaster, Terrie Musche of Clinton; Pamela Maynard and her husband Kenneth of Fitchburg, and Heidi Krauss, with whom she lived, of Clinton. She leaves two brothers, Carl Bruso and his wife Barbara of Lancaster, and Dennis Bruso and his wife Wilda of Gardner; two sisters, Dorothy Brooks and Gail Carriere and her husband Germain of New York; a sister-in-law and caretaker, Janet Tayefi of Clinton; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Jeffrey P. Krauss, grandson Randy Musche, and seven brothers and sisters.

Lolita was born in Chateaugay, New York to the late Desford and Minerva (Gadway) Bruso, and attended local schools. She was employed for many years in the plastics industry in Clinton, ultimately retiring from Nypro Incorporated. Upon retirement, Lolita and her husband bought a home and returned to Chateaugay, New York. She worked there as a cook for the Burke Adult Center until she came back to Clinton where she has resided for the past thirteen years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and will be fondly remembered for the happiness she provided to family and friends.

A graveside service is to be held at 1PM on Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Reservoir Pines Cemetery in Clinton. Calling hours are to be held privately. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Online condolences may be placed at
