Terry Lowery Obituary
She leaves her husband of 25 years, Leslie C. Lowery, a son, David L. Lowery and a daughter, Marie Carol Lowery, all at home. She also leaves her parents, Joseph R. Girard and Mary Fallon Girard, a brother, Joseph Girard, three sisters, Marie wife of Russell Prouty, Margaret Girard and Nancy Webster, all of Auburn.
She was predeceased by a sister, Sheila Van Cott, and four brothers, Thomas, Stephen, Paul and Michael Girard.
Prior to becoming ill, Terry was a registered nurse on the staff at the Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. Previously, she lived for many years in Egypt where she worked at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.
She was a disabled U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Tatnuck American Legion Post. Terry will be dearly missed.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of her family. Donations in her memory may be made to the VNA Care Network Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester 01608.
The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.

A very sad loss to our Girard Family. We were so fortunate to have come together at the family reunion last August. Many of us had nice conversations with Terry and will treasure that day. I myself will always remember her smile , her cheerfulness, and her dedication to family.
