Dearest Auntie Barbara,
I do not need to tell you how much Uncle Jim will be missed or how much we all loved him, because you already know. He was a great man who was a prominent figure in my life for as long as I can remember. From Thayer Pond to holding Jordan in your kitchen, he always was present with his laugh, love, and heart. We will continue with donut Sundays, but they will never be the same. He was the only man that was close enough to my heart to fill the shoes of my Dad at my wedding. The precious memory of that dance will be in my heart forever. Uncle Jim did leave a lasting impression on everyone he met. He also gave our family the blessing of getting to know and love Auntie Dot. I will be forever thankful for that. We will always remeber our Uncle Jim. Love always....

Uncle Jim, you were more like a father than an uncle. you taught me how to ride a bike, throw a baseball and catch a beaseball. You were there for me through all of the highs and lows in my life. Yet, you never judged me and stood by me through thick and thin. You were a great man, who gave 27 years of military service to your country. During that time you were in two wars (Korean, Vietnam)all our country. You raised your children and your grandchildren with the help of your wife and my aunt Barbara. There is an empty hole in my heart since you passed away. It will never heal even with the passing of time. I will never forget all of the wonderful things that you have done for me. And for teaching me how to be a good man. I will never forget you. You are forever in my heaert and soul. I will miss you very much Uncle. I love you very much anbd miss you!! Your nephew Gary
