Morris Z. Sachs

Morris Z. Sachs, age 91, died on Monday, August 4th in the Jewish Healthcare Center.

His wife of 54 years, Rosalie (Bean) Sachs died in 1994. He leaves a son, Richard Sachs and his wife Elaina of Worcester; three daughters, Karen Mann and her partner Lee Perrin of Southboro, Debra Sachs and her partner Marilyn Keating of Gloucester City, NJ and Emma "Cindy" Sachs wife of John Peterson of Williamsburg, MA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his dear sister-in-law, Joan Leibman; his nephew, Wayne Leibman; and his special caregiver, Ellie. He was predeceased by his brother, Al Sachs and by his sister, Rose Greenberg.

He was born in Dorchester and was a son of Oscar and Ida Sachs and lived in Worcester since 1941.

He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

With is wife Rosalie, he founded A-1 Storm Window and Siding Co. in 1949, retiring in 1982.

He was a member of Temple Emanuel and its Brotherhood, Irving Yarock Post #32 of the Jewish War Veterans, Damascus Lodge of Knights of Pythias and Worcester Lodge of B'Nai Brith.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6TH in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St. Burial will be in B'Nai Brith Cemetery.

Memorial Observance will be held through Thursday Evening, August 7th at the residence of Richard and Elaina Sachs, 41 Rosslare Drive.
