Alice Bashaw Obituary
She leaves her husband Charles A. Bashaw of Shrewsbury; three sons Francis S. Cloutier of Kentucky, Michael R Cloutier of Spencer & Brian J. Cloutier of Worcester; three stepchildren Robert Bashaw of Oxford, Sally Jason of Shrewsbury & Paul Bashaw of Holden; two brothers Roger R. Demers of FL. and Dennis G. Demers of Colorado; two sisters, Cecile A. Williamson of FL. and Helene D. Martel of FL.; 9 grandchildren & several great grandchildren. Mrs. Bashaw was born in Worcester daughter of Richard O. & Annette T. (Gascon) Demers. She was a longtime foster parent to 19 children & adults. Mrs. Bashaw was a member of the Spencer Golden Agers, a life member of DAV #4 Ladies Auxillary in Spencer and delivered Meals on Wheels for 10 years.
A graveside service for Mrs. Bashaw will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Please omit flowers, donations may be made to the MA Association for the Blind, 799 West Boylston St., Worcester MA, 01606. Pillsbury Funeral Homes, 163 Main St., Spencer is directing the arrangements.
