Clarice Sareault Obituary

Clarice (Warburton) Sareault, 96, of South Grafton, passed away August 6, 2008 at her daughter's home in the love and care of her family. Her husband of 64 years, Edmond "Cowboy" Sareault passed in 1999.

She is survived by two daughters, Bev Peladeau and her husband George of Sutton, Sally Shea of Auburn with whom she recently lived; one son, Robert Sareault and his wife Karen of Simpsonville, SC; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Rouleau and Marion Warburton and two brothers, William and Warren Warburton.

Mrs. Sareault was born March 8, 1912 in Bolton England the daughter of William H. and Sarah (Hoyles) Warburton. She came to the United States in 1913 and has lived most of her life in South Grafton. Mrs. Sareault was a payroll clerk at The Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville and then at New England High Carbon Wire Co. in Millbury for many years before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. James Church in South Grafton, and she enjoyed going to craft fairs, knitting, crocheting and particularly camping which she did until last year.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mrs. Sareault Saturday August 9th at 11 a.m in St. James Roman Catholic Church, 89 Main St. (Rt. 122A) in South Grafton. She will then be laid to rest with her husband in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive people Saturday August 9th from 9 to 10:30 a.m in Roney Funeral Home South Chapel, 124 Main St. (Rt. 122A) in South Grafton before her funeral Mass. Memorial donations may be made in her name to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St. Worcester MA 01608. A condolence book and directions are available at:
