Elizabeth Benoit Obituary

Elizabeth (Dingley) Benoit, 91, formerly of Marlborough and Florida, died peacefully Monday, Aug. 11, 2008 at her home. She was the wife of Adrian Benoit, who died in 1968. Born and raised in Sherborn, the daughter of the late Fred J. and Elizabeth (Brackett) Dingley, she was a graduate of Sherborn High School and attended Tufts University. Mrs. Benoit was a customer service representative for Braley Insurance in Worcester for 20 years, before retiring in 1989. She was predeceased by two brothers: Elmer Dingley of Franklin, Aubrey Dingley of Northborough, and a sister, Helen DeDeo of Marlborough; and she leaves nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 14, at 9:30 a.m., in Pine Hill Cemetery, Sherborn. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough.
