James Usher Obituary

James R. Usher, 51, of Upland St., died Monday, August 11th, after being stricken at work.

He leaves his mother, Marjorie (Skeates) Usher of Worcester; his four brothers: Arthur Usher of Tinmouth, VT, Edward Usher of Auburn, Thomas Usher of Brownville, ME and Joseph Usher of Leicester; his three sisters: Marjorie Powell of Poland Spring, ME, Elizabeth Chase of Sterling and Susan Bergman of Leicester; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Leroy D. Usher, III and by his brother, Leroy D. Usher, IV. He was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School, and went on to work as a plumber and electrician, working for Advanced Electrical Systems at the time of his death.

An avid outdoors man, Jim loved to fish and hunt with his brothers and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service celebrating Jim's life and will be held on Friday, August 15th at 2 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. Following cremation, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
