Phyllis and I met in 1991. She lived at Eaglehead Terrace and I was moving there. She took me under her wing and invited me to come and measure and compare any and all in her condo as I was unable to access mine yet. I surprised her with wine and cake one year on her bday and we had such a fun time. We became friends and talked from time to time. She wanted to buy my boat from me as she was sorry she had gotten rid of hers. My boyfriend tried to find out where she coould purchase 3 inch rope fencing for her place at the cape. I tried to visit her at Umass Memorial after one of her trips there and she had so many visitors I had to try to go back twice. She was a lovely lady . No one will ever forget her. She was so much fun and goodhearted. I hope she is enjoying her time in heaven. I will think of you often. Sandy Helie

Phyllis was a force to be reckoned with - a staunch ally and a fierce adversary on her wrong side. She taught a lot to many. She was one of a kind. Phyllis and her kind will be sorely missed.

I WILL DEEPLY MISS PHYLLIS, A DEAR FRIEND, ALWAYS READY WITH A KIND WORD, SHE PICKED MY DAUGHTER UP AT CHURCH WHEN I WAS IN A BIND. I'LL MISS HAVING BREAKFAST AFTER SERVICES WITH HER. I'VE ONLY KNOWN HER A COUPLE OF YEARS, ALWAYS THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE HERE. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY.

To my Great Aunt Phyllis, who indeed was an inspiration, an honorable role model and a human being who was geniune and compassionate. Phyllis helped pave the way for her family and friends showing how important it is to be a part of your family and community, and to constantly push forward in achieving greatness in life. I will always remember your smile and cheerful personality that always made my day, Phyllis. I promise you this, that death is not an end because you will live on in us, our kids, and the generations to come. For you are a part of us now and we plan to keep the Migliozzi torch burning for a long time to come.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Phyllis. I have warm thoughts of her at her house and on the beach in Eastham. We had fun around that kitchen table when the boys came home from fishing on the Southern Comfort. My sympathy to you and the Gaston family.
