Edith Ritzi Obituary

Edith M. (Moyer) Ritzi, 101, of Gauthier Road, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008, in the Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston.

Her husband of 51 years, Earl A. Ritzi, died in 1994. She leaves two sons, Charles F. Ritzi and his wife Janet of Melbourne Beach, Florida and Earl M. Ritzi of Barre; three grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin and Steven Ritzi; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Leon Moyer, and four sisters, Grace Campbell, Mildred Lord, Minnie Halley and Mable Ellstrom, predeceased her. She was born in Weissport, PA, daughter of Robert and Ellen (Hawk) Moyer, and lived in Worcester and Northborough before moving to Barre in 1977.

A memorial service for Mrs. Ritzi will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 25th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the activities fund at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, 76 N. Main Street, West Boylston, MA 01583.
