Henry Imbier Obituary

Henry J. Imbier, 86, of 1545 West Road, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Quaboag On The Common, West Brookfield, MA. He leaves his wife of 59 years Cecelia (Yuravich) Imbier, two sons, Paul Imbier of Warren and Peter Imbier of New Braintree, one daughter, Natalie Imbier of Amherst, MA, one brother, Edmond Imbier of Ware, a sister, Camille Koss of West Brookfield, 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph, Timothy and Jacob Monson. He was born in Ware, son of Peter and Sophie (Witalisz) Imbier and graduated from Ware High School, the class of 1939. He lived in New Braintree for over 59 years. For many years he was a Barber in Ware and a part owner of the Crest Cafe. Later Henry was a Postal Worker and also worked for many years at the Imbier/Monson Dairy Farm in New Braintree. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Narutowicz Club all of Ware. The funeral for Henry will be on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 South Barre Road, Barre, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Augustine Church, 98 Church Lane, Wheelright. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Barre. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. prior to the Mass. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
