Jerald St. Laurent Obituary

Jerald T. St. Laurent, 45, of Westboro, formerly of Worcester passed away Saturday, August 16th in the Kent Hospital, in Warwick, R.I. after being stricken ill earlier.

Jerry is survived by his wife Lori I. (DiProfio) St. Laurent; his two children, Brian and Nicole St. Laurent both of Worcester; two stepchildren, Ryan and Shauna Sweeney both of Westboro; his father Joseph E. St. Laurent of Worcester; five brothers, James St. Laurent of Oakham, Jeffrey, John and Sean St. Laurent, and Craig Benoit all of Worcester; two sisters, Jodi Contonio and Julie Leveillee both of Worcester; many nieces, nephews and friends. A brother, Joseph St. Laurent passed away in 1978. His mother Barbara A. (Connor) St. Laurent passed away in 2003. Jerald was born, April 12th 1963 in Worcester, he graduated from Worcester Boys Trade and lived in Worcester before moving to Westboro recently.

Jerry worked as a sheet Metal Foreman for General Mechanical Contractors in Auburn more than 15 years.

Jerry was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and took part in many memorial motorcycle rides. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and 4 wheeling.

The funeral will be held Thursday, August 21st from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Spaulding St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Wednesday, August 20th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Laurent Children's Educational fund, care of T.D. Banknorth, West Boylston St. Worcester 01606.
