The towns of West and North Brookfield have lost a great and kind citizen. When I travel, I always tell people who ask that I am from West Brookfield, you know, where Salem Cross is..and they know just what I am talking about. I have lost a friend and someone who also was one of my late father's best friends, and I might say, someone who is responsible for a few of my additional "pounds" thanks to extra helpings of roast beef and other goodies!

To the entire Salem clan, My thoughts are with you as you deal with the loss of your dad. I know how very difficult it can be. It seems strange to think that both of our dads are gone. They seemed larger than life when they were alive. So many memories, so many happy times.
God bless and keep those memories.
