Paula Dumas-Baker Obituary

Paula Monique Dumas-Baker, 41, of Milford died Sunday, August 17 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Omer F. & Victoria L. (Rojcewicz) Dumas. She was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade School and attended Becker Jr. College where she studied dog grooming. After moving to Milford she joined the Crossroads Clubhouse in Hopedale. She was there nearly every day and made many friends there. She enjoyed being with them and doing things with her family and friends. Paula was an avid bingo player and loved to dance.

Paula is survived by four sisters, Anne Marie V. Stevenson of Worcester, Lucille R. Burns of Leicester, Dolores A. Emond of Somerset, Darlene C. Chumsae of Charlton; a brother, Paul C. Dumas of Worcester. Paula is also survived by her boyfriend, Michael Dunn of Franklin and a very special friend, Mary Cates of Alternatives.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, August 21 at 11:a.m in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, lower chapel, 5 East Main St., Milford. Following cremation burial of cremains will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, August 20 from 5 to 8:p.m in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford. Donations in Paula's memory may be made to the Crossroads Clubhouse, 11 Williams St., Hopedale, MA. 01747.
