Albert Lemoine Obituary

Albert J. Lemoine Jr., 77, formerly of Benson Rd. died Fri. Aug. 22 at St. Camillus Health Center after an illness. His wife Barbara M. (Bonoyer) Lemoine died in 1996. He is survived by a brother, Roger E. Lemoine of S. Grafton; a sister, Loretta Hall of Millbury; a stepdaughter, Linda M. Bousquet of Manchaug; 2 stepsons, James T. Boucher of N. Grafton and Donald P. Boucher of Worcester; his Godchild, Gloria (Manyak) Grenier of Northbridge; 8 nephews and nieces; and his last uncle, Robert Beauchene of Brooklyn CT. He was brother of the late Agnes Manyak. Born in Canterbury CT on March 10, 1931, he was the son of Albert J. Sr. and Irene M. (Beauchene) Lemoine and lived in Northbridge 23 years.

Mr. Lemoine was a truck driver for Interstate Trucking in Worcester for 25 years. He then drove for Consolidated Freight and Yellow Freight several years, retiring in 1996. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the 1st Marine Corps Division in Korea. A life member of the VFW, Albert belonged to Post 6145 as well as Oliver Ashton American Legion Post 343, both in Northbridge. He was a Teamster's Union Local 170 member since 1954, and enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of the Grafton Seniors and St. Patrick's Church.

His funeral will be held Wed. Aug. 27 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Whitinsville with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 1 Cross St. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tues. Aug. 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church P.O. Box 60 Whitinsville, MA 01588.
