Mary Kelley Obituary

Mary Cecilia (LaForest) Kelley, 63, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Mon., Aug. 11th at Maria Manor in St. Petersburg, FL, where she received wonderful care from the staff during a long battle with Diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease. She leaves her husband of 27 years, Stephen M. Kelley; a daughter, Deborah Powers of Millbury; a son, David Powers of Attleboro; two grandchildren, Daniel Standring and Colton Paszkowski. She also leaves five sisters, Ruth Kutasz of Zepherhills, FL, Barbara Garland of Harrison, ME, Lorraine McQuinn and Joanne Quigley both of Naples, FL and Davona Woodman of Woonsocket, RI; and several nephews and nieces. Her daughter, Christine Powers, five brothers, George, Joe, Bob, Bill and Stanley LaForest and her sister, Betty Howe, predeceased her.

She was born in Weymouth, MA, daughter of Clarence and Cecilia (Gabarre) LaForest. Mary worked for Crawford Insurance until moving to Florida seven years ago and prior to that she worked at Verizon and Norton Company. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Fri., Aug., 29. in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, MA. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on the same day from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. For online condolence book please visit
