Beatrice Masiello Obituary

Beatrice M. (Cassone) Masiello, 94, Dustin Street in Worcester, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008, in her home. Her husband, Anthony D. Masiello, Esq., pre-deceased her in 1976. She is survived by her daughter, Susan F. Small and her husband Oliver H. Small, II of Westborough; a son, Steven A. Masiello and his wife Nancy Masiello of Silver Spring, Maryland; two grandchildren, Anthony H. Small of Boston and Elisabeth A. Small of Worcester; several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was born in Worcester, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Annette (Morandi) Cassone, and has lived here all her life. She graduated from North High School and Salter Secretarial School, both in Worcester.

Beatrice enjoyed spending time at her home in Marshfield, where she could visit the beach daily and enjoy the sun rising where the ocean meets the sky. She also enjoyed bowling, shopping, dancing, and playing card games.

Funeral services for Beatrice are private. There are no calling hours. Interment will be with her husband, Anthony in Saint John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to UMass-Memorial Hospice, in care of The Foundation, One Biotech, 365 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
