John Stranieri Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of John Stranieri announces his death on August 6, 2008. John was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on December 18, 1932, the son of John and Anna (Lepore) Stranieri and was involved in local sports as an athlete and a baseball coach. He excelled in many sports including golf and bowling.

John was married to Jean (O'Brien) Stranieri for 53 years. John also leaves three children and two grandchildren. His oldest son, John is married to Martha (Morton) and have two children, Ethan and Callie, and reside in Rutland, MA. His son Stephen is married to Anita (Ceppi) and reside in Wake Forest, NC, and his daughter Susan Stefanello resides in Weston, FL where John and Jean have made their home for the last three years.

John leaves a sister, Grace Goulet who predeceased him; a brother, Ronald, and a sister, Joan O'Brien, along with many nieces and nephews. It is with heavy hearts the family announces his death. John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
