Clifford Bleau Obituary

Clifford E. Bleau, 72, formerly of Worcester and Auburn, died Monday September 8th in the Lanessa Health Care Center.

He leaves his wife of over 50 years, Phyllis M. (Chapdelaine) Bleau; his two sons, Richard K. Bleau and his wife Karen of Oxford, and Kenneth D. Bleau and his wife Paula of Connecticut; his daughter, Debra M. Slattery and her husband Mark of North Brookfield; his brother, Kenneth D. Bleau of Auburn; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Michele D. Baldinger. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph C. and Doris M. (Trudell) Bleau and lived in Auburn and Worcester for many years. A longtime auto body repairman, Cliff co-owned and operated Mill Street Auto Body in Leicester for 18 years, along with his brother. He was an avid motorcycle rider, loved to go camping and enjoyed restoring an antique car.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Cliff's family on Saturday September 13th from 10-11 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A prayer service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Lanessa Health Care Center Patient Activities, 751 School St., Webster, MA 01570 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
