Ralph Reinhold Obituary

Ralph D. Reinhold, 85, of Worcester Rd. passed away, Sunday, Sept. 7, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his wife of 5 years, Yvonne (Price) Reinhold; 2 daughters, Linda Ditomasso of Charlton, Ruth Anderson and her husband Andy of Charlton; two sisters, Ruth Schwark and June Millard both of Michigan; five grandchildren, Bonnie Nieves, Jennifer McIntyre, Ralph "PJ" Reinhold, David Jenkins Jr, Natalie Jenkins; four great grandchildren; stepchildren, Diane Cornejo of NYC, Ronald Moe of Wales, Karen Moe of Hubberston; 2 step-grandchildren, Jaclyn and Jilian Cornejo. He was predeceased by his first wife, Grace (Buckley) Reinhold who died in 2001; his son, Ralph E. Reinhold who died in 2006; two brothers, Lee Reinhold and Harvey Reinhold and a sister, Eileen McTighe.

He served in the Army during WWII. He owned and operated Ralph's Auto Body for over 30 years and retired in 1985.

Mr. Reinhold was a member of the Charlton City United Methodist Church and was a member of it's men's group. He was a member of the Joel H. Prouty Lodge of Masons AF & AM in Auburn and Aleppo Shriners where he sponsored many children to the Shriner's Hospitals. He and his wife volunteered for meals on wheels in Oxford and Charlton. He enjoyed fishing and boating, and crossword puzzles.

His funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 12th at 11:00 AM in the Charlton City United Methodist Church, 74 Stafford St., Charlton. Burial will follow at West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton. At his request there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Charlton City United Methodist Church, PO BOX 387, Charlton City Ma. 01508.
