Ronald Ciesluk Obituary

Ronald A. Ciesluk, 69, formerly of Webster, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Frisbee Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NH, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Jean T. (Arpin) Ciesluk; a daughter, Bonnie J. Davis and her husband Robert of Andover, CT; a son, Todd A. Ciesluk of Plymouth, MA; a brother, Edwin Ciesluk and his wife Elaine of Ashburnham, MA; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Meghan Davis; an uncle, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was born and raised in Webster, son of Anthony and Antoinette (Olszewski) Ciesluk. He lived in Thompson, CT and later in Plymouth, MA for 19 years before moving to New Hampshire in 2006. He graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1956. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and then a Masters Degree in Finance from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.

He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving on the USS Saratoga.

Mr. Ciesluk retired as vice-president and chief financial officer of Jet-A-Way in Boston in 2006.

He was a former member of the TSKK in Webster.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, Sept. 12, in the funeral home. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

I remember the first time I met Mr. Ciesluk years ago when I came home with Bonnie for Spring Break. The hospitality and kindness the two of you offered was always fondly remembered. He was a great man.

I am truly sorry to hear about his passing.
