Helen Koski Obituary

Helen C. (Szlyk) Koski, 91, of Worcester, passed away Sat., Sept. 13, in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Stanley A. Koski died in 1984.

She leaves three children, Jane P. Callahan of Holden, Anthony P. Koski of East Dennis and Stephen P. Koski of Santa Barbara, CA; a brother, Chester Szlyk of Smyrna, FL; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A sister, Theresa Szlyk predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Stephen and Vida (Rogalski) Szlyk.

Helen retired from the former Woodbury Company. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed baking, knitting and playing chicken foot with them.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues., Sept. 16, at 11 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608. Arrangements in the care of Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St.

Helen live across the street from us, and was very good to the kids. Helen also was a beautiful women who you respected and love.
