Ma You were truly a mother to me in every sense of the word and I will always love and remember you every day of my life. Words can never ever express how I feel about you. You were my savior so many times. I will miss you so much, you were always there. But I can lift my head to the heavens and talk to you and know you will hear me and continue to guide me. Hugs and kisses to Dad for me.
Thank you Ma from the bottom of my heart.
I will forever love you

Gram,
Miles, years, not even death will keep us apart. When I shut up long enough to find a quiet space in my mind I can hear your voice say "Lorna Jean, you hot ticket". I will always remember your kitchen, the uneven floor and my 4th birthday. Hands held facing each other, dancing from the table to the window, back and forth until the birthday cake in the oven fell. Of all my birthday memories (and there's been a few more than four now) that is my favorite. I remember it like it was yesterday. I am so greatful for the surprise Mother's Day visit and the time we spent catching up. You are the greatest grandmother a fat, mouthy little kid could ever ask for. I love you.

My Gram,
Although we moved away when I was still small, I have very clear memories of you. I remember you cooking and how the pressure cooker top jiggled and great smells filled the room. Like Jodi I remember the doorways trimmed with popcorn balls and candy canes.
Spending time with you this summer made me really understand just how special you were and why everyone smiled when they talked about you.
I am so glad that your love of music and your talent found its way into my home.
I will wear the Oh,My socks and think about you often.

Gram,

As much as it hurts to lose you it also makes me happy that you are up in Heaven with Gramps. You and Gramps were such a big part of my life growing up and I thank you for that. I have so many fond memories of christmas time with all the candy taped to the door frame and the big boxes filled with gifts. Many times I find myself telling my kids about the times we used to go over your house every sunday for macaroni, tomatoes, and hamburger. We can't forget that everlasting pudding sorry gram but that's one family recipe that I will not be passing on. I thank you for teaching me how to sew and everytime I use your sewing machine I'll make sure I talk to you for guidance. My kids and I will always have great memories of you thank you for being a great grandmother and mem mei. Please give my mother and gramps a big hug and kiss for me. Please watch over Bobby, Ashley and Brittany and tell grandma Alice they are getting big. Love Jodi, Frankie, Robert, Ashley, and Brittany.

You look so peaceful lying there
With your hands folded upon your chest.
You look like you are sleeping
But you are at eternal rest.
So Long For Now.

Not a hair out of place,
Your make-up nicely done,
A beautiful smile upon your lips -
For now you are with my mom.
When someone special passes on
It does not mean they are gone,
Though they are no longer with us
Their memory still lives on.
It hurts so much to lose a friend -
Especially one that is trustworthy and kind.
Gram, you were that special friend,
A rare and special find.
Gram, you will always be with me
In spirit and in mind.
You will always have a special place in my heart
Forever until the end of time.
Gram, I will not say "Good-bye".
This is not the end.
So I will just say, "So long..."
Until we meet again.

To the best grandmother anyone could wish for. Thank you for all of the wonderful years. You will be truly missed. Send mom hugs and kisses for me. I love you.
-Jill
