Rose Wieloch Obituary

Rose A. (Ruda) Wieloch, age 95, of 338 Thompson Road, Webster; formerly of 400 West Main Street, Dudley, died Friday, September 19, 2008 at Webster Manor.

Her husband, Frank J. Wieloch died in 1990. She is survived by two sons, Francis Wieloch of Union Hall, VA and Thomas Wieloch of Wexford, PA; three daughters, Lucy Hajec and Alice Bantle, both of Pawleys Island, SC, and Rosemary Kindler of Dobbs Ferry, NY; one sister, Stasia Gasparik of West Brookfield; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Rose was born in Webster, daughter of the late John Sr. & Antonia (Rzszutko) Ruda and lived in the Webster-Dudley area all her life. She was a shoe worker for many years. She also worked at Old Sturbridge Village for 17 years where she worked in the farm house doing baking and was known for her needle tatting.

The funeral will be held on Monday Sept. 22, 2008 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, West Main Street, Dudley. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Allegiance Hospice, 67 Middle St., Suite 503, Lowell, MA 01852.
