Dear Mom, To have had you for a mother is one of the greatest blessings ever bestowed upon me. You have imprinted your love and kindness on everyone who knew you, or knew about you. God let us have you for 97 years, and no one could ever ask for more. I love you, and miss you, but you are a part of our lives now that will never end. All my love, Mary Anne

Aunt Mary is one of those people who you are a better person for knowing. For being my great aunt and not seeing her all that often when I did see her it was as if I saw her every day. She would give us warm hugs and would chat with you as if you saw her everyday. My fondest memory of Aunt Mary is being in 5th grade and my mom let us skip school (we never were able to) and we went to Aunt Mary's kitchen and she taught us how to make homemade pasta! It is one of my many fond childhood memories. My mom always told us that when people pass away they live in heaven and watch over us and I picture Aunt Mary there.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Aunt Mary, thank you so much for letting me be a part of the beautiful Mass, she would have loved it. I especially remember the day that Aunt Mary came up to our house in Millbury and taught us all how to make italian cookies for Erica's wedding,(I actually video taped it! I'll dig it out).
Again, love to all of you.

MaryAnn, John and Paul,
There are not enough words to describe your mom, my great aunt. I always thought of her as a second mother. Over the past few days, like everyone who knew her, I think back on the times I spent with her. She would always ask if I wanted a "cup of tea and to sit down and talk a minute" and of course do I want something to eat. On hot summer nights we'd sit on the front step talk and have a glass of iced coffee or lemonade. As I got older she would take to me either Maryann's or Aunt Rosie's house on Friday night to play cards. She would let me drive when I got my learner's permit. And who can forget all those Wiffle Ball games in the yard and aunt Mary yelling out the kitchen window "Watch my flowers"!!!! The most lasting memory I will forever hold is every morning aunt Mary yelling upstairs "EVA, come down for coffee"
and there she would be with her cup of tea and jar of dry cereal waiting for my mom to come and sit for abit.
Aunt Mary will forever be in my thoughts, prayers, mind and heart.
Aunt Mary I love you!

Mary Ann, Johnny and Paul:
Ginny myself, and my family are very saddened by the loss of your mother and my aunt. Aunt Mary was a very special person. She and my mother shared a bond of being the only sister in laws to Marry into the Benedetto family. Aunt Mary was so special to my Dad as well. She was very kind to me at a time when kids had no rights and were always told to go outside and play. The Christmas eves
were so much fun. The men playing cards and Morta I can still hear them screaming as I write this. What memories. No holiday Easter, Thanksgiving, Xmas or News year day was ever complete with out a visit to Boudreau Ave with my parents!
She is in a better place now and I believe she busy making sausage bread and ricotta pies last night for our Dads
We love you stay strong

How can I write about all the wonderful memories I have of Aunt Mary. My fondest is having dinner there one time while Uncle Johnny was still alive and as we were eating a song came on the radio and Aunt Mary and Uncle Johnny got up and started to waltz.
The many nights sleeping over with Maryanne and impressed as Maryanne always had to say the rosary before falling asleep. Aunt Mary was very spiritual and passed that to on her children. The closeness of having a cousin, Johnny, being born only a few days apart from each other. I loved being part of a family that included Aunt Mary, Uncle Johnny and my wonderful cousins Maryanne, John and Paul. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your wonderful mother but the memories live on. Now her and Uncle John can be together again and maybe they are waltzing right now.
