Christine Montalvo Obituary
She leaves her husband of 40 years, Waldestrudis (Cuqui) Montalvo; her daughter, Evelyn Vega-Rodrigues and her husband Franciso of Worcester; three grandchildren, Jose Vega and his wife Tracy Vega, Chris Gleason-Fedirko and her husband John Fedirko and Carmen Vega and her partner Luis Fugueroa and fourteen great grandchildren.
Christiane was born in Elbouf, France, daughter of Leon and Yvonne Blaimpain, and has lived in Worcester for most of her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. Christiane was an accountant and had worked for Jiffy Lube, the Ecotarium and retiring from American Polymer. She was an artist and enjoyed traveling with her family. She will be missed and loved by all of her family.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 23rd from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a memorial service following in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 350 Plantation St., Worcester MA 01604. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Chris was a beautiful person. I have so many wonderful memories of Chris since I was a little girl. From swimming in the pool to making my prom dress to picking out my material for my wedding dress. I could keep going on. She was my mothers dearest friend. You will be missed Chris.. Words can't describe how I know your feeling it's one of the worse pain you can go through. I know and wish I could take the pain away but no matter what keep the faith and remember Kiki as I did smiling, friendly, kind woman. Jose and Tracy you were here for me during my time of loss.
